Founded in the early 1980’s by close friends and partners, Mr. Peter Lührs and Mr. Otmar Gojcic, GESUTRA GmbH (german LLC) initially specialised in the manufacture and distribution of steel adjustable pedestals and steel perforated panels for use within the specialist raised access flooring market. Today, GESUTRA GmbH is a world leader in this sector and produces in excess of 25 million high quality pedestals per annum for worldwide distribution through an established professional sales network.
In 2002, full control of the GESUTRA GmbH company was passed down to the next generation of the Lührs / Gojcic family’s and saw Dr. Jörg Lührs appointed as the Managing Director working in partnership with his close friend colleague Mr. Christian Gojcic. Increased tuornover and profitability paved the way for the expansion of the business and enabled the development of new manufacturing facilities in Eastern Europe and Asia which operate to ISO-9001.
GESUTRA GmbH has developed several strong quality brands over the years, all with outstanding success, however none more so than the HanseLifter® brand which has transformed the company into a major materials handling equipment solution supplier across Europe.
From its new purpose built 50,000 M² headquarters and European distribution centre based In Bremen, Germany, GESUTRA GmbH prides it self on the speedy supply of all product / brands directly from stock backed by an unrivalled / dedicated sales and technical support team.
In early 2010, Gesutra has continued it's successful company expansion into the USA market. Gesutra USA LLC has been formed and a branch office has been opened in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Derek Beveridge is responsible for establishing dealer and distributor partnerships throughout the United States and will provide the same high quality customer service, product support and availability that has made the Gesutra successful tthroughout the world.
Our commitment to product development and the introduction of new innovative product lines is supported by plans for the further expansion of our Bremen facility which are currently underway.
