GESUTRA Raised Access Floor Under-Structure

Raised access floor systems have been an integral part of commercial buildings since the early 1960’s, providing a service void into which the building’s services can be securely placed and accessed when needed.

The raised access floor systems are generally employed in areas with large volumes of services, such as: computer rooms, control rooms, data centres and general open plan office accommodation, where the speedy reconfiguration of work-stations and services is a prerequisite. If required, the service void can also be employed as an air plenum in order to deliver chilled air directly to cool computer equipment heat loads.

Typically, there are two types of systems available: firstly, “full access” floor systems which are based on access floor panels normally 600 x 600mm each fully removable, supported by steel adjustable pedestals. Secondly, “partial access” (also known as “hollow floor”) utilises larger panels, generally 2400mm x 600mm again supported by steel adjustable pedestals.

Gesutra specialise in the manufacture and distribution of a comprehensive range of high quality steel adjustable pedestal supports and associated ancillary items, including lateral and load bearing stringer supports.

Our products are rigorously tested to the latest European BSEN 12825 standards and, with our annual production of pedestals exceeding 25 million, we are well placed as a world leader in this field with more than 30 years experience to draw from.

In addition to standard stock pedestals, Gesutra offer a bespoke manufacturing service producing pedestals to the customer’s specification / design. For additional information on this or any other aspect of Gesutra pedestals please contact enquiries@gesutra.com
